Under the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation, this form informs the Buyer before a distance sales contract is concluded and before any payment is made. The Turkish version of this form prevails.

2. 2.Main Characteristics of the Service

   Tongue Global provides in-person interpreting in Türkiye, online interpreting and local guidance for business meetings, exhibitions, health and property appointments, official procedures, education and similar situations.

   The language pair, type of service, city and address, date, time and duration are stated in writing in the quotation and booking confirmation sent to the Buyer.

3. 3.Price and Payment

   The total price of the service including taxes, and its currency, are shown in the quotation. Any additional costs, such as travel or third-party charges, are listed separately in the quotation.

   Payment is made by credit or debit card through iyzico’s secure payment system, or by bank transfer/EFT to the bank account stated in the quotation.

4. 4.Performance of the Service (Delivery)

   The service is provided in person or online on the date, time, place and duration stated in the booking confirmation. Nothing is shipped and no delivery fee is charged.

   When an interpreter is assigned, their name and contact details are shown in the Buyer’s Tongue account and sent by email.

5. 5.Right of Withdrawal

   A Buyer who is a consumer may withdraw within 14 days from the day the contract is concluded, without giving a reason and without paying any penalty. The withdrawal notice is sent in writing to info@tongueglobal.net.

   If the right of withdrawal is exercised, the full payment is refunded within 14 days of the Seller receiving the notice, using the original payment method and at no cost.

   The right of withdrawal does not apply to services whose performance has started, with the Buyer’s approval, before the withdrawal period ends (Distance Contracts Regulation, Article 15(1)(ğ)).

6. 6.Cancellation and Refunds

   For standard bookings cancelled before the service starts, and without prejudice to statutory rights: 48 hours or more before the scheduled start, 100% refund; between 24 and 48 hours, 50% refund; less than 24 hours, no refund.

7. 7.Complaints

   You can send complaints to info@tongueglobal.net or call +90 546 192 90 59.

   The Buyer may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees up to the monetary limits announced by the Ministry of Trade, and to the Consumer Courts above those limits.

8. 8.Approval

   Before paying, the Buyer confirms electronically that they have read this form and have been informed of the main characteristics of the service, its total price, how it is paid for and performed, and the right of withdrawal.

   The Buyer’s personal data is processed under the privacy notice published on the website.
